Recurring Donations

Set up and manage monthly giving for sustained support.

Monthly giving provides consistent support and is especially valuable for missionary support and ongoing ministries.

Why Give Monthly?

Recurring donations benefit everyone:

For Donors

  • Convenience — Give automatically without remembering each month
  • Budgeting — Spread larger gifts into manageable amounts
  • Greater Impact — Small monthly gifts add up to significant annual support

For Recipients

  • Predictability — Plan ministry with reliable income
  • Sustainability — Build long-term financial health
  • Lower Fundraising — Spend less time on constant asks

Setting Up Monthly Giving

  1. Find a campaign you want to support
  2. Click "Give" to open the donation modal
  3. Choose your amount
  4. Select "Monthly" as the frequency
  5. Complete the payment subscription setup

Managing Your Subscriptions

View and manage all your recurring donations from your HopeGives dashboard:

  • See all active subscriptions
  • View upcoming payments
  • Access payment history
  • Update payment methods
  • Pause or cancel subscriptions

Modifying Recurring Donations

To change your monthly amount:

  1. Cancel your current subscription
  2. Set up a new recurring donation at the desired amount

Canceling Recurring Donations

You can cancel anytime:

  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Find "My Donations" or "Recurring Donations"
  3. Click "Cancel" on the subscription you want to end
  4. Confirm cancellation

[!INFO] Canceling a recurring donation stops future charges but doesn't affect donations already processed. For refunds on past donations, please contact support.

Receipts for Recurring Donations

You'll receive:

  • Individual receipt emails after each monthly charge
  • Year-end summary statement available in your account
  • Tax receipts for each donation to qualified organizations
